The President has signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. This bill allows the deduction of sales tax paid on new vehicles purchased from 2-17-2009 until 12-31-2009 from 2009 federal income tax returns. Single tax filers making less than $125,000 per year and joint filers making less than $250,000 are eligible for this line item deduction. Please see dealer for full details on the bill.
